Your analytics choice.

Last updated: 3 September 2026. This is a working legal draft prepared for SAB review. It must be approved by qualified Ethiopian counsel before the legal-review flag is removed in the CMS.

The site stores your analytics choice in your browser's local storage under the key sab-analytics-consent. This preference is necessary to remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics. It is not used for advertising.

The site does not load Google Analytics unless a valid measurement ID is configured and you choose Accept analytics. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile as a security service. Turnstile may use browser storage or similar technology strictly to identify abusive automated traffic and protect the form, not for SAB advertising.

If you consent, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<measurement-id>. Google describes _ga as distinguishing users and _ga_<measurement-id> as preserving session state. Google lists a default expiry of up to two years for these cookies, subject to browser limits and the site's Analytics configuration.

SAB uses analytics to understand page use and interaction trends. The site does not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers or message contents to Google Analytics.

You can accept or decline analytics when the consent panel appears. If analytics is configured, you can reopen Analytics settings from the footer and change your choice. Declining prevents the Google Analytics component from loading; changing from accepted to declined also attempts to remove _ga cookies available to this site.

You can also remove stored site data through your browser controls. Blocking all storage may prevent the site from remembering your preference.

Following a link to WhatsApp, Telegram or another external service may allow that service to use its own cookies or similar technology. SAB does not control storage set on third-party websites.
